A brief report about the media coverage of Yemen peace talks in Sweden

The Islamic Radios and Televisions Union (IRTVU) has participated in the coverage of the Yemen peace talks held in Stockholm, which lasted for 8 days, from 6 to 13 December 2018.

The Union has covered all the details, events and statements of Yemen peace consultations by its media team composed of 20 correspondents, photographers and technicians. This team included the following institutions: U-News Agency, Al-Masirah Channel, Al Sahhat Channel, Al-Alam TV Channel, Al-Enejah Channel, Press TV Channel, Beladi Channel, Al-Nabaa Channel, Iran TV Channel, the news site of Al-Ahed, Albenaa Lebanese newspaper and number of other media institutions.

U-News Agency has provided live feed service of the opening session, closing session and of the press conferences held by international envoy Martin Griffiths, for all of the union members. Even the members that did not send correspondents could also use all media materials exclusively.

The Agency has also provided service via satellite Live Stream technology (the Internet) for all its members and breaking news service by communicating directly with the Yemeni delegation to get accurate and reliable news as fast as possible to all the member of the Union.

In addition, the office of the General Secretariat of the Union distributed the names and telephone numbers of the Yemeni National Delegation members and the positions and tasks of each of them to all the members by its Whatsapp group, which contains all union's media institutions even who were not present at the conference.
